Solid is a flat single colour, flake adds coloured chips for texture and hides minor wear, and metallic creates a depth/marbled effect. Flake and metallic cost more but disguise dirt and scuffs better over time.
Often, yes. If the structural frame underneath is sound, we can replace individual boards or joists rather than tearing out the whole deck. We'll tell you honestly if a section is too far gone to save.
